"Twilight" or "retard vampires"

So, like all of you, I have seen all the buzz on the book/movie Twilight. I have not read it, so I won't comment much on the book itself. My main annoyance with it is the advertising. I'm talking about the creepy shirts with their heads on them. Yeah, that needs to stop. Its creepy.

I was in the mall on sunday when I came across a store selling a cardboard cut out of the female lead. I thought to myself "Why would someone buy that?" Then it came to me. Why would someone buy a cardboard cut out of a teenage girl? The only reason I can think of is to cut a hole where the girl's mouth and pussy should be and put his dick in the hole. That's the only use for those, right? A cheap sex doll.

Like I said, I haven't read the book or seen the movie. However, I do know a little about the plot. I know that the vampires sparkle, that's right, they fucking sparkle. The only threat the sun holds for them is to make them glittery. Anyway, it seems very base. A very "forbidden love" teenage angst fest. Nothing on a deep or intellectual level. It is a fad which I hope will pass quickly (until the next movie comes out).
